"A Good Dog" specializes in instructing dog owners in the art of training their dogs and solving dog behavioural problems.

Our Philosophy
Most people want a dog that they can enjoy and be proud of, and can be considered as a good member of the family. However, a good dog rarely comes by chance, but by training. On one end of the continuum of dog training methods, we have correction based training. On the other end, we have totally positive training. We believe in balanced training, which embraces positive motivation, appropriate rewards and knowledgeable use of aversives and corrections. With a balanced approach and an open minded perspective, we are able to apply the most suitable techniques, all on an individual, as needed basis. The training methods are tailored to both the dog and the owner, so as to produce the most reliable and optimal result, and at the same time, to make the training an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
